Her kidnappers then give her a diarya tale of a young girl that will touch her heart.

In the diary is a story of a love struck seventeen-year-old girls odyssey in nostalgic 1930s Ethiopiafrom the luxurious coronation of Emperor Haile Selassie to his exile followed by a victorious return recorded in one of Prime Minister Winston Churchills famous Nobel Prize literary missives. Can a teenage American girl face up to slavers, poison gases, and bombings to win the officer she loves? Readers are invited to join Ella as she discovers the storys conclusion, and how it will ultimately affect hers.

About the Author
Beatrice Fairbanks Cayzer is the daughter of a U.S. Ambassador-at-large. His first mission was Ambassador to Ethiopia. She visited Africa twice. She is a grand niece by marriage of Britain’s First Sea Lord, Admiral Jellicoe. Born in the USA, she became a British citizen and a permanent resident of Monaco. While residing in Guernsey she was named Woman Of The Year. She wrote Tales Of Palm Beach, Princess Diane, The Princes And Princesses Of Wales, The Royal World Of Animals (Macmillan UK), Murder By Medicine, Drugstore, The Happy Harrow Murder Trilogy, and articles which appeared in Esquire, Travel, House & Garden, Town & Country, and Good Housekeeping. She has three daughters. Members of her family have been active in Africa. Her uncle Alexander Murray died there in the Boer War, her husband Stanley Cayzer fought Rommel in the Western Desert. Her grandfather-in-law Sir Charles Cayzer founded the Clan Line which served the west coast of Africa and was outstanding in helping the pygmies and when he served in the House of Parliament.
